PSI - udáva, na aký tlak výrobca odporúča nafúkať plášť. 1 atmosféra = 14,7 PSI
TPI (EPI)- hustota vlákien kostry plášťa. Čím vyššia hodnota TPI, tým flexibilnejší a pružnejší bude plášť.
