Pirelli P ZERO™ Race 700x30C tyre
PURE PERFORMANCE
HANDLING - SPEED - GRIP
Using the experience of the World Tour races and thanks to the constant desire to achieve perfection, Pirelli developers managed to develop the most powerful universal racing tire of this iconic brand. The P ZERO™ Race is created to maximize the benefits of the construction using a tube in a race-ready universal tire that outperforms all existing road tubes and even Pirelli tires. After three years of development in collaboration with the fastest racers on the World Tour circuit, including the 2019 UCI Champion and World Champion, Pirelli managed to design this new inner tube with the new SmartEVO rubber compound and TechBELT braid construction technology. It offers this excellent product to all professional cyclists as well as all cycling enthusiasts.

TECHNOLOGY
SmartEVO rubber compound
The new SmartEVO rubber compound uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each of which provides specific performance qualities to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. Pirelli has used its knowledge and experience from more than 100 years in the development of rubber compounds for motorsport, when these products have always been used in the highest level of racing in all disciplines. This extensive knowledge from the development and racing department has enabled Pirelli to create a ternary blend of polymers with "smart" performance properties for bicycle tires and forms the basis for the excellent characteristics of the SmartEVO compound - better grip in dry and wet conditions, and at the same time lower rolling resistance. Pirelli has created a performance rubber compound designed and tuned for all modern disciplines of road cycling, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures, where climates and diverse surfaces demand tires that reliably perform at the highest level in all circumstances.
TechBELT
high-performance braid structure with an added layer of highly cut-resistant fabric under the tread so that the tire can provide excellent puncture resistance in a wide range of conditions. The combination of this layer and the layers of the braid frame allows to achieve the most effective parameters of rolling resistance and weight for this construction for use with a tube.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
