Greg Minnaar, three-time world champion, three-time overall world cup winner and legend
of this sport.
"My idea was to design a jacket that reflects the iconic patterns of the Maxxis brand,"
says Greg Minnaar. "I started in the middle of the sample with a combination of Minion DHF and Minion DHR II.
The reason was that the DHF rolls well and gives confidence on hard surfaces, corners, wet
roots and stones. DHR II added speed and aggressive braking.
Later we added extra teeth to give the wheel better response under load and a consistent feel
up to the side projections. I can't even forget my favorite coat - Hgh Roller. Together
with the experts at Maxxis, we have created elaborate side protrusions that have a very similar
characteristics like the original. But with the new support, they are excellent at cutting corners
on a flat surface.
I ended up taking the tread height from the Shorty. As the protrusions are well supported, it can be
additional height to bite into the ground in dry and dusty conditions."

TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
