Hutchinson Toro 29x2.25 "tire, Tubeless Ready Hardskin kevlar
Toro is an excellent "versatile" tire that excels in a variety of terrains and conditions. UK magazine Singletrack recently named it the best bicycle tire of the year. Available in various soul and tubeless versions, Toro is also available in "Hardskin" and "Race Riposte" versions. Hardskin is resistant to defects - a durable aramid fabric barrier protects the casing (and soul) from punctures. Race Riposte is a special compound that has good adhesion and still has excellent abrasion resistance. Tires with a width of 2.3 are two-component, while tires with a width of 2.3 and higher have one harder component under the tread, which helps to stabilize the treads in DH conditions. Toro is also produced in specific hardness versions of XC, enduro and DH specific mixtures.
- Higher side posts keep in curves in different conditions.
- The lower middle slopes drain the mud and still provide excellent traction.
- Use of a special RR mixture in different widths.
- Excellent universal tire for various conditions.
