Current world cup race tracks are steep, very technical and conditions often change in a short amount of time. That's why professionals need an open, medium-high tread, ideal for dry and very unstable terrain, but also capable in the wet and in the mud. The Shorty is therefore much more versatile than the Wetscream Mud Crusher. The high and slightly inclined side protrusions easily penetrate the loose ground and thus create a stable and well-predictable performance at high speed. The central part of the pattern is made of square and rectangular protrusions and has excellent braking and self-cleaning properties.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
