The Minion DHR tire was designed by Maxxis-MSC's European racing component development team for the downhill needs of the UCI World Cup series. Like the DHF, the DHR also uses slanted lugs, but the grooves in them are designed for better braking and acceleration. Depending on track conditions, DHR can be used both front and rear or in combination with DHF at the rear.
