The Ardent Race fills the gap between the icon and the Ardent, between fast XC tyres and trail tyres. The Ardent Race is available in all three wheel sizes in 2.20″ width as TubelessReady version.

Its profile is medium high, the centre adits are narrow, but leave enough space for good self-cleaning and are slanted for lower rolling resistance. The side galleries are angled and offset and bite into the ground in curves. This makes the Ardent Race the right tyre for all-round use and on the trails.

Technologies

Tubeless ready (TR)
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This improves traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no hose, the risk of breakdowns is reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "Tubeless Ready" tyres. The bead of our TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tyre. This means that the tubeless mounting of all rims with standard dimensions is successful right from the first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, light and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tyres remains convincingly good.

3C MaxxSpeed
Our fastest 3C compound for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tyres is designed for the lowest rolling resistance due to the hard base and the fast compound in the middle of the tread, but also offers superior grip in curves, even in wet conditions, thanks to the non-slip compound on the sides. Another typical feature of MAXXIS is its very long service life.
