Pirelli P ZERO™ Race 700x30C SPEEDCore SmartEVO tire

Pirelli introduces the new generation of P ZERO Race TLRs, further improving one of its best-selling models on the market. Through a new design solution, they have addressed one of the most important parameters when it comes to bicycle tires: rolling resistance.

The new SPEEDCore construction is a thin, airtight layer of aramid-infused rubber compound that covers the inside of the tire. The greater elasticity of the rubber compound makes the tire faster and more flexible, while the presence of aramid allows for better puncture resistance. The skeleton is complemented by a nylon fabric and an aramid puncture protection belt, while Pirelli maintains the most advanced SmartEVO rubber compound in the tread to provide the highest performance. All the special elements of the new P ZERO Race TLR are skilfully made in Italy, providing unparalleled quality and excellent performance.

Podla www.bicyclerollingresistance.com GP5000 mne zmysel nedava, ked sa zohladni- hrubka materialu/odolnost/defekty/straty/mokry grip.
Ako podobna nahrada moze byt Schwalbe ProOne, najma v nizsej cene.

SK Super plaste, aj rozmer 30 je relativne lahky, V kombinacii s TPU dusou su velmi komfortne a sucasne stale dynamicke. Ja som presiel z 28mm na 30mm a ten zvyseny komfort mi za to stal. Aj v zakrutach su istejsie. Moje DT Swiss ERC 1100 maju vnutorny rozmer rafika 19mm, ale tento rozmer je stale v pohode. Dnes standardnych 21mm+ by priniesol asi o trochu lepsiu stabilitu.

SK Nahodenie je celkom tortura. Minimalne tem prvy mi trval hodinu. Druhy som po skusenostich s prvym nahodil za cca 10 min. Patky su extremne odolne a trena mat naozaj ulozenie v strede zliabku aby ste boli uspesni. Odporucam, ak ich mate ako dusove dokupit dobre montpaky. na druhej strane, dnes som na nich spravil prvych 100km a proti Pirelli co som mal predtym v sirke 28, som si mohol dovolit bez problemov prechadzat nerovnosti, jamy, praskliny uplne v pohode. To som predtym nevedel, resp som riskoval poskodenie. Cize odolnosti by som dal kludne +40%. Co sa tyka pohodlia a komfortu jazdy, tak si dovolim povedat ze je to na urovni gravelovych 40tok. kazdopadne co ma velmi vyrusilo je, ze plast na prednom kolese dost hadzal v smere jazdy. Bude je zle vyrobeny a niekde je privela materialu, alebo som nieco podecenil pri nahadzovani. Zhodim, znovu nahodil a napisem update. Samozrejme pri vyssich tlakoch to bolo vyraznejsie pri nizsich to material tajk an 50% nativne eliminoval
Update1: jeden past som dal na reklamaciu. Druhy co som nechal na zadnom kolese tiez vykazuje excentricitu, ale ovela mensiu a ak clovek neslape tak pri 30km/hod je to celkom badatelne. Uvidim ci nereklamovat aj druhy. skoda, lebo pocitovo su naozaj ryche a dobre...

SK Pre mna skvela volba. Lahke, rychle, skvele odvalovanie a vybrony grip aj v zakrutach. Menil som jeden po cca 4500km, sekol som ho naboku co uz neslo ani tmelom, ani cervom. Cervna z Color edition skvele ladi s bikom.

SK kupil som dva, jeden vraciam ... po kratkom case prestal drzat v rafiku, po nafuknuti na 6 bar vystreluje z rafika, uz pri 4-5 bar vidno ako patka plašť sa tlačí z rafika von na jednom mieste ... s inym plastom na danoim rafiku bezproblemove nafuknutie a jazda ...
mozno vynimocny chybny kus, ale reklamujem/vraciam ho ...

SK Skvelé odvaľovanie, ľahké tubeless plášte, kvalitná výroba, ešte uvidím časom aká bude odolnosť voči defektom (doplním znova až po 500km)

(EDIT 17.11.1024) po 780km
Dnes prvý defekt, veľký kus skla ktorý som si nevšimol na cyklochodníku, prerezaný behnúť, používam Silca Ultimate Carbon tmel, diera taká že nevedel utesniť ani s červíkom, došiel som domov na cca 1,5bar - bol som 1 km od domu tak som neriešil dušu)

(EDIT2) 12.5.2025 plast sa opotreboval po necelych 1000km, totalny šmejd, už mam 2 plášť a začína sa opotrebúvať behúň, teraz som vyšiel von že si idem zajazdiť a po 2km mi sfuklo tak ze aji silca tmel nepomohol, defekt ziaden no proste sfukol a nesiel najodit ani po 7x nafukaniu. 2x75€ ide do kosa, total šmejd…

plaste su vhodne v sirke 28C aj na hookles rafy, max. tlak je tam limitovany na 5 bar. Pozor, uzsi rozmer (26C) na hookless rafiky vhodny nie je!
17.5 mm rafiky problemom nebudu.

Len dobucúcna príp. pozor aj na kompatibilitu s konkrétnymi kolesami, najmä ak sa jedná o karbónové hookles ráfiky.
