Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5 x 2.50" 3CT EXO+ tire, TR, Kevlar
With side gussets borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II rocks like no other. The center tread has angled leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-shaped lugs on the center tread dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control. Pair it with the Minion DHF up front and you have the perfect tire combination for aggressive trail riding!
Specification:
- 3CT: Maxxis 3C MaxxTerra is a mid-range triple compound configuration used across our entire mountain tire line. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, but provides better tread wear and lower rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, making it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
- EXO+: is a medium puncture protection option from Maxxis suitable for all-round trail riding and lightweight e-bikes. We start with a durable 60 TPI casing, add our legendary EXO puncture protection layer to the sidewalls, and finish it off with a small butyl insert around the bead. The solid casing and EXO material protect against damage from rocks and roots, while the butyl insert protects the tire from pinch flats and helps prevent rim damage.
- TR: Tubeless-ready tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of a flat because there is no tube. Tubeless tires are marked with the letters "TR" on the sidewall.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.
