Maxxis Assegai 29x2.50" WT 3C MaxxGrip tire

New coat called Assegai . Even Greg Minnaar , three-time world champion, three-time overall world cup winner and legend of this sport, collaborated on the development of the new pattern . "My idea was to design a jacket that reflects the iconic designs of the Maxxis brand," says Greg Minnaar . "I started in the middle of the sample with a combination of Minion DHF and Minion DHR II . The reason was that the DHF rolls well and gives confidence on hard ground , turns, wet roots and stones. DHR II added speed and aggressive braking. Later on we added extra teeth to get better wheel response under load and a consistent feel all the way to the side lugs. I can't even forget my favorite coat - High Roller . Together with experts from Maxxis, we have created elaborate side protrusions , which have very similar characteristics to the original, but with new support, they are also excellent when cutting turns on a flat surface. I ended up taking the tread height from the Shorty . As the protrusions are well supported, the additional height can bite into the ground in dry and dusty conditions."
