Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.50" WT DD 3C MaxxGrip tire

Minion DHF is a legend among freeride and downhill tires. A standard that other competition tires try to approach. DHF can be used at the front and at the back (depending on the condition of the track). It has excellent driving characteristics, above all it sits perfectly in corners and holds the track perfectly when driving fast.

It is designed for unpaved natural surfaces, such as gravel, mud and clay. Inclined protrusions in the middle of the pattern reduce rolling resistance, transverse grooves in the pattern multiply the number of edges that are better maintained on an unpaved surface.

MaxxGrip provides the best traction on wet, steep roads with rocks and roots. However, with greater rolling resistance, climbs and flat sections will be more exhausting
Double Down (DD) - a lighter version of the butyl reinforcement, which, in combination with a cord with a fibre density of 120 TPI, provides optimal properties for enduro/trail tires
The three-compound 3C technology offers minimal rolling resistance and extremely long tread life

Variant Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.50" WT DD 3C MaxxGrip plášť, TR, kevlar

SK Za mňa je Minion DHF naozaj univerzál. Zvolil som ho na svoj enduro bicykel práve v tejto zmesi a kombinácii. Za sucha nemám námietky, aj keď netreba čakať nulovú rolling resistance. Za mokra drží slušne, nízky tlak + bezduš. Opotrebovanie asi normál, nič extra +/-. MaxxGrip je na asfalte samozrejme kus pomalšia, ale dopredu ju volím vždy .

V tomto prípade teda súhlasím s recenziami, tento plášť je rokmi overená stálica, ktorá má zmysel. Pokryje väčśinu podmienok - mokré korene, kamene, blato, prašný podklad.

SK "Riskol" som to s bočnicou DD na predok a lepšie som urobiť nemohol. Fantasticky tlmí terén a ten Maxxgrip je fenomenálny. Už chápem všetky recenzie, keď hovoria, že na biky sa dávajú slabé bočnice a o koľko lepšie sú silnejšie a môžem to iba potvrdiť. Vždy som mal len EXO, defekty síce neboli, ale toto prevedenie má naozaj pridanú hodnotu pri mojej hmotnosti 95kg. Jazdím najmä traily na Babe a v blízkom okolí PK.
