Der Maxxis Ikon+ eignet sich hervorragend als schneller Rennreifen mit genug Reserven für tieferes Gelände.
Suitable for hardtails and AM Fullies up to 140mm. Its 120 TPI carcass adjusts smoothly to the ground and ensures a great rolling behavior.
The TR version with EXO sidewall protection is designed for driving without hose with sealing milk, but like all TR tires, it can also be used with hose.

Tubeless Ready (TR)

  • Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no hose, also decreases the risk of punctures. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the assembly with sealing milk than others "Tubeless Ready" tires. The bulge of our TR tire is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer. Thus, the Schlauchlosmontage is successful for all rims with standard dimensions already at the first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection

  • This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tire remains unchanged convincingly good.

SK Dobrý deň. Chcel by som sa opýtať na odolnosť týchto plastov. Či sú dostatočne odolné proti prierazu. Mám momentálne schwalbe nobby nic a sú úplne papierové. Keďže je pri týchto plášťoch písaná ochrana len kevlar mám trochu pochybnosti. Prípadne ak by ste mi mohli poradiť dostatočne kvalitné a protiprierazne plášte 27.5plus 2.80. dakujem

SK Dobrý deň,

jedná sa o odolnejšie prevedenie plášťa, ktoré má zosilnenú bočnicu - EXO Protection , takže by sa malo jednať o dostatočne odolný plášť. Zosilnené plášte sa označujú u Maxxisu ako EXO Protection , u Schwalbe je to SnakeSkin a u Continentalu to je ProTection .
