Maxxis Dissector is a fast enduro tire designed by Australian DH Star Troy Brosnan. The tire was developed for an optimal combination of low rolling resistance and the best cornering grip. This versatile tire is therefore actually designed for the rear wheel, but depending on the surface it can also be used on the front, or on both wheels. Troy Brosnan wanted to develop a unique tire that goes insanely fast, cuts through corners precisely, and slows down when needed.|
Dual Compound - a harder central compound (62a) ensures low rolling resistance with slow wear, while a softer compound (57a) used on the sides offers excellent lateral shapeability and great tire grip in corners, whether in the rain or in the dry

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.

Zdravim. Ale aj ked to nie je “3C MaxxTerra“, podla popisu: ...Tvrdšia stredová zmes (62a)... znamená podobnú (strednú) celkovú tvrdosť ? vdaka

jedna sa o DC plast, t.j. povrch stuplov je v tomto pripade rovnako tvrdy (v strednej aj bocnej casti behuna) - cize ano, stredna cast je podobna, tvrdsie su v porovnani s 3C len bocne stuple.

Dobrý deň, rozdiel je vo váhe a max.tlak v kolese. Tento znesie 50 PSI a plášť v linku 40 PSI.

tak tam mate niekde chybu. 3C maxx terra exo tr v 2.4" je iba tento jeden. ten druhy s hmotnostou 1130g je maxx grip a DH casing, nie exo (preto ta hmotnost). takisto podla maxxisu 40 psi je max iba pre 2.6" plaste (sirsi plast = vacsi objem = nizsi tlak) https://www.maxxis.com/catalog/tire-581-140-dissector

Jazdím veľa na trailoch, vrátane výjazdov nahor. V lete ho používam vpredu v kombinácii s Rekonom vzadu kvôli rýchlosti. V zime prechádzam na drsnejšiu kombináciu, vpredu Minion DHR a vzadu Dissector kvôli gripu.
