Maxxis Assegai 29x2.60" WT EXO 3C MaxxTerra tire

A new tire called Assegai. Even Greg Minnaar, three-time world champion, three-time overall world cup winner and legend of this sport, collaborated on the development of the new pattern. "My idea was to design a tire that reflects the iconic designs of the Maxxis brand," says Greg Minnaar. "I started in the middle of the sample with a combination of Minion DHF and Minion DHR II. The reason was that the DHF rolls well and gives confidence on hard ground, corners, wet roots and stones. The DHR II added speed and aggressiveness when braking. Later, I added extra teeth to get a better wheel expression under load and a consistent feel all the way to the side lugs. I can't even forget my favourite tire - the High Roller. Together with the experts at Maxxis, we created redesigned side thread that have very similar characteristics to the original. But with the new support, they are also excellent when turning on flat ground. Finally, I took the tread height from the Shorty. As the threads are well supported, the additional height can bite into the ground in dry and dusty conditions."

SK DC je dual compound teda 2 zmesový plášť a 3C maxx terra (ešte je tuším MaxxSpeed a MaxGrip) je tuším najvyššia 3 zmesová rada, rozdiel by mal by hlavne v gripe, 3C by mal byť "prilnavejší k povrchom" teda super na agresívnejšiu horskú cyklistiku, kde je grip najlepší kamarát, zato dual compound je cenovo dostupnejší a aj vydrží dlhšie, 3C sa trošku rýchlejšie derú

SK dual compound sa dava zvacsa na zadne koleso, kde tvrdsia zmes vydrzi o nieco dlhsie. Maxxterra je potom vhodna dopredu, pokial potrebujes co najvacsi grip tak MaxxGrip dopredu a Maxxterra dozadu.

bude to veľmi hraničné, ak sa Vám aj plášť podarí nasadiť, tak jeho tvar nebude ideálny - bude balónovitý. Tento plášť v šírke 2.60" je ideálny na ráfiky s vnútornou šírkou okolo 30-35 mm, 19 mm ráfik bude priúzky.
