Chaoyang H-481 KESTREL 700x38C Hippo Skin tire, wire
The smooth center tread with low rolling resistance, complemented by grooves of various sizes, is also suitable for riding in wet conditions. The grooved side surfaces provide effective traction on wet and dirty surfaces, as well as excellent cornering stability. The 30TPI tire construction ensures sufficient strength, durability, and last but not least, the tire's lifespan. HIPPO SHIN puncture protection, inserted between the tread and the tire carcass, is composed of a mixture of cut Kevlar fibers and rubber (Kevlar floc). The layer thickness is 1.5mm and significantly improves the tire's stiffness and protection against punctures and flats. HIPPO SKIN protection is specially developed for city bikes.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
