In addition, when tackling more challenging ascents, thanks to the shape of the handle, you can comfortably slide the pole under the backpack on your back or stick the pole into the snow with the handle. The strong strap then gives a secure grip. The extended cups won't fray even in powder, and you can lean on the stick wherever you go. The tungsten carbide tip will also break through frozen firn.
