The ORTOVOX DIRACT VOICE avalanche search engine was developed in cooperation with the Tyrolean Avalanche Prevention Center with an emphasis on durability in frequent and demanding use by mountain guides and rescuers. The search engine tolerates long-term cold, even -20 °C. Its solid rubberized casing withstands impacts and moisture and does not slip even with gloves.
