Climbing Technology Obx BG carabiner

Hot-forged oval carabiner made of light alloy with innovative Brilock screw lock. Ideal for lifting equipment and rigging in mountaineering or for rope maneuvers in technical climbing. Suitable for self-belaying on a stand, for belaying and pulling or for use in rescue maneuvers. Designed for extra security, so there is no risk of the lock opening.

Brilock system

Revolutionary semi-automatic lock for carabiners. It combines the ease of use of a screw lock with the additional security of an automatic lock.
  • Ergonomic opening - the lock can be easily opened with one hand, even with gloves
  • Two-position operation - "neutral mode" - neutral mode (sleeve is closed), "open mode" - open mode (sleeve is open)
  • In neutral mode, the carabiner is closed and the sleeve can rotate on its own without the lock opening, thus avoiding the risk of its accidental opening due to vibrations, friction, impacts, etc.
  • In open mode, the sleeve remains open to facilitate maneuvering
  • Unlike the classic twist-lock and triple twist-lock systems, the closing is semi-automatic and the user does not have to constantly open the sleeve when performing maneuvers.
  • The engraved arrow shape on the sleeve makes opening intuitive

In neutral mode (closed carabiner), the carabiner is closed and the sleeve can rotate on its own without the lock opening, thus avoiding the risk of accidental opening due to vibrations, friction, impacts, etc.
In Open mode, the sleeve remains open to facilitate maneuvering
Oval shape for optimal placement of rope and other equipment
Ergonomic shape allows comfortable opening of the lock and improves handling
Reinforcement at contact points for better rope slip and wear resistance
The nose of the carabiner does not have a beak to prevent it from getting caught when clicking in and out
