CAMP Rocket Plus ice auger, 13 cm, yellow
Every ice climber and big alpine wall climber needs the best and lightest equipment. The CAMP Rocket Plus is an ice auger with 2 integrated Dyneema® loops, suitable for ice climbing at the highest level. He chose these screws for his equipment. You climb the ice chute, carefully choosing belay locations, and release the Camp Rocket plus bolt from the slot on your harness.
The thread pitch is ideally set for easy screwing, the thread height for secure locking and the folding handle allow for quick drilling into the most frozen ice. The wind from above sends avalanches of powder snow at you, but you are instantly secured and continue your ascent. The direction is clear and the meters are coming at you nicely. To increase comfort and efficiency, the screw is equipped with an aluminum alloy handle that can be comfortably operated even with thick gloves. For better orientation of the material, the screws are distinguished from each other by the color of the handle and Dyneema® loops. Thanks to the color, you can always quickly choose the length you need and avoid having to make a choice in difficult terrain. You and your partner climb to the top simultaneously over easier terrain and shake hands. After a while, you rappel down the side chute using the ropes back to the start.
