The square shape limits rope twisting and reduces hazards around the rappel figure eight. This version of the lightweight and compact figure eight is equipped with an anti-scald handle. The small hole can be used for thin ropes or as a quick release brake. The Osma is made of high-strength forged aluminum. Designed for use with ropes with a diameter of 8-13 mm.
