Petzl ASTRO BOD FAST work harness, INT version, black
The ASTRO BOD FAST full-body harness with an integrated CROLL L ascent blocker is designed for higher efficiency and comfort during rope ascents. The detachable front connection point enables optimal integration of equipment (blocker, connecting means, seat...). The wide, semi-rigid waist and leg straps provide excellent support. They are shaped and lined with breathable foam padding for hanging comfort. The DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the back straps connecting the waist and pants allow for a shorter adjustment when using the back connection point. The harness also makes it easy to carry and organize gear with multiple material loops and slots for attaching CARITOOL material carriers and TOOLBAG tool pouches. On each shoulder strap there is a holder to store the connectors of the MGO connector with a shock absorber. It is certified according to North American and European standards. The international version of the ASTRO BOD FAST has leg straps equipped with automatic FAST buckles.
Detachable front attachment point:
Connecting the PROGRESS connector directly to the connection point without using a coupling- Connection of the CROLL exit blocker to the front connection point for greater efficiency during rope ascents
- Connecting the PODIUM seat enables direct connection to the abseiling device and at the same time guarantees mobility
Extremely comfortable construction:
Semi-rigid, wide waist and leg straps for excellent support; shaped and lined with breathable foam padding for hanging comfort- Padded shoulder straps are cut wide to reduce neck chafing when the belt is loaded, helping to distribute the load on the shoulders
- Lateral textile connection points with plastic insert reduce weight and volume and ensure easy connection of equipment
Convenient setting:
- The belt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles for quick and easy adjustment
- The shoulder straps are equipped with one DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle and one FAST automatic buckle for quick and easy donning of the harness.
- The leg straps are equipped with FAST automatic buckles for quick and easy unfastening and fastening without having to readjust them, even when wearing gloves
- The DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles in the back of the harness, on the straps connecting the waist and the pants, allow adjustment for connection to the back connection point
- In the event of a fall to this point, the shorter setting allows the load to be transferred to the leg straps, so the user can remain suspended more comfortably while waiting for rescue
Makes it easier to carry and organize equipment:
Six preformed loops for material with a protective jacket- Two slots for CARITOOL material carriers
- Two slots for the TOOLBAG tool case
- Shoulder straps equipped with holders for MGO connectors with shock absorbers, so that loops do not interfere with work and at the same time are immediately available
Connection points:
- Front connection point: connection of the rappelling device, the positioning connection for use in simple mode, the progression connection and the seat
- Lateral connection points: connection of a positioning connector for use in dual mode
- Chest attachment point: fall arrest system attachment
