Fenix GL19R rechargeable weapon light

The rechargeable Fenix GL19R LED pistol light is designed specifically for use on short weapons. It offers a top light output of 1200 ANSI lumens with an afterglow of up to 210 meters. The lamp is powered by one Fenix ARB-L18-1100P Li-ion battery (size 18350), which is charged via the USB-C connector directly in the lamp. The simplified control of the lamp is bilateral (for both right-handed and left-handed). If necessary, the lamp can be switched to a lower output of 350 lumens or it can be immediately switched to stroboscopic flashing. Installation on the gun rail is simple and does not require tools - the lamp is slid onto the gun rail and secured with a lever. It can be attached to Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 and GLOCK weapon rails. The lamp is suitable for professionals, sports and hobby shooters as well as airsoft.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing and afterglow) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix GL19R lamp control

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use .

By pressing any of the switches once, the lamp switches on to the last selected lighting mode. Press it again to turn it off again.

Press and hold any switch to turn it on momentarily. The light will be on while holding and will go off again when the switch is released.

Instant strobe activation: Press and hold any of the switches while the light is on. After 0.5 seconds, the stroboscope will be activated, which will light up as long as the switch is held.

Switching between lighting powers: Turn on the light, press and hold one of the switches, then press the other switch to switch between 1200 and 350 lumen modes.

To lock the lamp: When the light is off, press and hold both switches for 5 seconds. The light will then flash twice to indicate the locking status of the lamp. To unlock again, press both switches at the same time and hold them down for 1 second. The lamp is then activated again.

Indication of the state of charge of the accumulator - the indicator LED is located on the side of the lamp. The indication can be turned off/on with three quick presses of the button on the same side as the indication LED. The lamp always indicates the battery charge status three seconds after switching on. Green indicates a sufficient state of charge (100% - 85%), green flashing 85% - 50% capacity, steady red light 50% - 25% and flashing red critically discharged battery (25% - 1%). If the battery is discharged, the lamp will gradually automatically reduce its output to 50 lumens.

Charging the lamp - unfold the rubber cover of the charging connector and use the included USB-C cable to connect it to a computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter (not included in the package). Any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED on the side of the lamp lights up red, after full charge it lights up green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 2 hours. The used Li-ion battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so the lamp can be recharged at any time.

Intelligent protection against overheating - due to the high output in the 1200 lumen mode, the lamp heats up. If the internal temperature of the lamp rises to 60°C, it will automatically start reducing power. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 60°C, the power will gradually increase again.

Warning

• Use only high-quality rechargeable batteries to avoid damage to the lamp, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• Observe all safety principles when using a light on a weapon.
• Insert the batteries with the positive pole towards the lamp head.
• If the lamp flickers, shines with low power or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is dead - replace it or charge it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
