Fenix HL32R rechargeable headlamp, blue
The compact rechargeable Fenix HL32R headlamp delivers a luminous flux of up to 600 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 73 meters. Power is provided by a built-in lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh, which is charged via a micro-USB connector directly in the headlamp. The light source is a modern Cree XP-G3 LED with a warmer shade of light (neutral white) and a red Nichia LED. The advantage of a neutral shade of light is a more natural and contrasting presentation of colors in nature. The main LED is housed in optics that create a wide, smooth cone of light, ideal for example for hiking, mountain climbing, work use, but also running.
There are a total of 9 power modes, including an SOS flash mode for emergency situations and two red light modes. The headlamp maintains its water resistance according to the IP66 standard, so it can easily withstand heavy rain. The headlamp strap is equipped with reflective elements that ensure good all-round visibility when moving along the road. From the inside, a rubber fabric is woven into the strap, which ensures a stable and comfortable fit on the head. Thanks to the weight of only 108 grams, the Fenix HL32R is perfect for hiking, running, camping, photography, climbing, as a headlamp for fishermen and other activities.
All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI / NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
Fenix HL32R headlamp parameters
A powerful white Cree XP-G3 LED with a neutral shade of light and a red Nichia LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours are used.
Seven lighting modes: BURST 600 lumens (switches to the previous lighting mode after 1 minute) -> 300 lumens (4.5 hours) -> 130 lumens (14 hours) -> 70 lumens (24 hours) -> 30 lumens (60 hours) -> 4 lumens (200 hours) -> SOS 30 lumens (120 hours) -> red light 1 lumen (100 hours) -> red flashing 1 lumen (200 hours).
The optics create a wide cone with an afterglow of 73 meters (1333 cd).
Digitally regulated for constant brightness.
It uses a built-in lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh.
Four-part battery charge status indicator.
Charging via micro USB connector.

The use
By holding down the right (main) button for 0.5 seconds, the headlamp will always switch to the lowest mode of 4 lumens. With further presses of this button, you can switch between 4 - 30 - 70 - 130 - 300 lumen modes at any time during operation. Burst mode (600 lumens) is activated by holding down any button for 1.2 seconds (even when the headlamp is off). Pressing the right button again returns the headlamp to its original mode. Holding down the left (smaller) button for 0.5 seconds turns the headlamp into red light mode. Additional presses of this button can be used to switch between red light, SOS and red flashing modes.
Battery charge status indication - after a short press of the left button (the headlamp must be switched off), the LED indicator of the battery charge status on the top of the headlamp is activated. Four lit LEDs mean that the battery is more than 80% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one 20-40% and one flashing means the battery is less than 20% charged. The LED indicator also lights up briefly after turning on the headlamp with the right button.
Protection against overheating - operation in Burst mode is limited to 1 minute at a time, after which the headlamp returns to the previous lighting mode.
The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous activation, e.g. when transporting in luggage - hold down one of the buttons or both buttons for 3 seconds. Then the red LED flashes 4 times. To unlock, hold both buttons again for 3 seconds.
Charging
Unfold the rubber cover of the micro USB connector on the back of the headlamp and use the included USB cable to connect it to a computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter. Any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can also be used for charging.
During charging, the four indicator diodes on the upper side gradually light up, after full charge they all light up permanently.
The charging time of a fully discharged battery takes about 4 hours.
The Li-pol battery used does not suffer from a memory effect, so the headlamps can be recharged at any time.
Carefully seal the USB connector cap after each charge.
The headlamp can be turned on while charging, but only in 4 lumen mode.
Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
The battery is almost empty - charge it.
