Product description

The new generation of the compact Fenix HL16 headlamp brings a luminous flux of 450 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of up to 104 meters. Power is provided by three commonly available AAA batteries. The light source is a modern LED Luminus SST-20 with a white shade of light, which is located in the main reflector. Red LED Everlight 2835 is used for additional lighting. A total of 6 power modes are available, including an SOS flash mode for emergency situations. The headlamp is treated with a wide comfortable strap. The strap is perforated for quick sweat removal and supplemented with reflective elements that ensure good passive visibility, e.g. pri behu po ceste. Thanks to the weight of only 97 grams, the Fenix HL16 will serve well as a running headlamp as well as a headlamp for camping, hiking or other outdoor activities. Thanks to the choice of several colors and the favorable price, the HL16 is also great for children.
All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix HL16 headlamp parameters

Powerful white LED Luminus SST-20 and red LED Everlight 2835 are used, both with a lifetime of 50,000 hours.
Four white light modes: 450 lumens (3 hours) -> 150 lumens (8 hours) -> 50 lumens (27 hours) -> 5 lumens ( 100 hours ).

Main light cone with 104 meters of afterglow (2700 cd), red LED afterglow of 6 meters.
Power supply 3 pcs AAA micro-pencil battery. It is possible to use disposable alkaline, lithium and rechargeable NiMH.

The headlamp can be tilted in the holder and thus set the desired lighting direction (60° range).

The use

The white light is turned on by pressing the right button for 0.5 seconds, the red light is turned on by holding the left button. The white light has a memory and is always switched on in the last selected mode. The red light will always switch to a constant 5 lumen mode. You can cyclically switch to other power levels at any time during operation by pressing the corresponding button. The headlamp is turned off by holding down any button for 0.5 seconds.
White and red light cannot be activated at the same time.
The control buttons can be locked to prevent spontaneous activation, e.g. when transported in luggage - keep one or both buttons pressed for 3 seconds. To unlock, hold both buttons for 3 seconds.
Protection against overheating - if the internal temperature of the headlamp exceeds 65 ° C, it will automatically reduce the power.

Warning

Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
Never use batteries of different types or batteries with different capacities.
Always carefully check that you insert the batteries into the headlamp with the correct polarity.
If the headlamp flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
