Fenix ​​E18R V2.0 rechargeable flashlight

Fenix ​​E18R V2.0 is a rechargeable miniature pocket LED flashlight with a short-term extreme output of up to 1200 lumens (ANSI). This model uses a top-of-the-line Luminus SST-40 diode as a light source. Thanks to the length of only 67 millimeters and the weight of 56 grams (including the battery), it can be carried with you at all times - in your pocket, on your keys or in your purse. It is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery RCR123A, which can be charged in the lamp via a USB-C connector from any USB source (e.g. computer, power bank, USB source in the car). A disposable CR123A battery can also be used in an emergency.

It goes without saying that the high quality of the design, durability and waterproofness are essential. The lamp is equipped with a removable clip and the end is magnetic. A unique innovation is a special collimator that creates a light cone with a surprising afterglow of 146 meters. The collimator is made with technology used in the automotive industry and its height is only 3 millimeters, which is less than half compared to commonly used optics. The use

To turn on or off, hold down the side button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To switch to flash mode, hold down the side button for about 1.2 seconds.

The control button can be locked so that it does not turn on by itself, e.g. when transported in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, quickly press the button twice again.

Intelligent protection against overheating - due to the fact that such a small lamp reaches such an extreme output of 1200 lumens, it heats up. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the power will be automatically reduced. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, the highest power can be used again.

Charging - unfold the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the lamp and plug in the attached cable (USB-C connector), plug the other end of the cable into the computer, or the USB adapter into the electrical network or car. During charging, the indicator LED lights up red. It lights up green when fully charged. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Battery charge status indication - when the light is off, a short press of the side button activates the indicator LED in the side button of the light for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left.

Warning of exhausted batteries (functional only when using Li-ion RCR123A) - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and the indicator LED in the button will start flashing red.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and RCR123A Li-ion batteries to avoid damage to the lamp, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is dead - charge it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The lamp body is loose, tighten it.
