Fenix CL20R Pro rechargeable light, 400 lm, green
Are you looking for a reliable and versatile light for camping, tenting, fishing or evenings on the patio? You just found it. The Fenix CL20R Pro is a compact and powerful rechargeable camping lantern that you can use to illuminate a room, tent or workbench. Twenty-seven high-brightness diodes hidden under a hemispherical diffuser provide a luminous flux of up to 400 lumens (ANSI) with a pleasant neutral shade of white light (3700 - 4200 K). The advantage of this shade is a more natural and contrasting color rendering that does not tire the eyes. To create an atmosphere, the lantern is also equipped with twenty-four RGB diodes for colorful lighting. Power is provided by a replaceable Fenix ARB-LP1900 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 1900 mAh, which is conveniently recharged via a modern USB-C connector. In an emergency, it can be replaced with three regular AAA batteries. Thanks to the durable construction with IP65 protection, it won't be afraid of rain. The bottom is equipped with a flip-up hanging eye and a strong neodymium magnet, so you can easily attach it to a tent structure, car hood, or any iron surface. Weighing only 122 grams, it is the ideal outdoor light for traveling.
Compared to the CL20R V2.0 lantern, the CL20R Pro lantern offers higher maximum power and a built-in 5.8GHz radar motion sensor. If active, the lantern will automatically turn on when you approach and turn off when you move away.
All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The battery may have an insulating cap from the factory. Remove it before first use.
Turning on/off and switching power modes - The lantern turns on to white light by holding the switch for 0.5 seconds, to turn on color modes, press the switch twice quickly. To turn on the light ring, press the switch once and then again within 3 seconds. The individual lighting modes of the selected lighting method are switched by pressing the switch. The lantern turns off by holding the switch for 0.5 seconds.
Switching lighting modes - Delayed shutdown function: If the lantern is turned on in white light modes, press the switch twice quickly to activate the delayed shutdown function. The light ring of the switch will turn purple and the lantern will turn off after 20 minutes. If the lantern is in color mode or has an active color ring, double-press the switch to switch between the two lighting modes. If the continuous color change mode is active, double-press the switch to pause the current color or resume the continuous color change.
Smart motion sensor - If the lantern is turned on to white light and the smart motion sensor is active, it will automatically light up when motion is detected within a range of 1.5 meters. It turns itself off after 60 seconds of inactivity.
- Sensor activation - With the lantern off, hold the switch for 3 seconds. The ring will flash blue twice and the lantern will light up in low white light mode. Indication: If the sensor is active, the switch ring lights up blue.
- Deactivating the sensor - With the lantern off, hold the switch for 3 seconds. The ring will flash blue eight times.
- The motion sensor is turned off by default.
- To save battery, deactivate the sensor when you don't need it.
- If the sensor is active, double-pressing the switch will temporarily activate delayed shutdown (the ring will glow purple). Once it is complete, the lantern automatically returns to sensor mode (the ring lights up blue).
Memory for the last set mode - The lamp has a memory and will always turn on in the last set white light mode, except for the highest mode. Instead, it switches to the second highest mode.
Battery Replacement - Pull the hanging eyelet on the bottom of the lantern and unscrew it clockwise to open the battery cover. Insert the battery according to the marked polarity, and then screw the battery cover back on.
Charging - Flip up the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port of the lamp. After charging is complete, seal the dust cap again. The normal charging time is 2.5 hours. The lantern can be used in all modes while charging. While charging, the light ring on the switch will gradually flash green in a counter-clockwise direction. It will turn green when fully charged. To extend battery life, we recommend charging the lantern when the charge level is between 50% and 25%. If the charge level drops below 25%, it is advisable to charge immediately. Do not connect the charging cable to the lantern if you are using AAA batteries.
Battery status indication - Every time the switch is turned on or pressed when the lantern is off, the battery status is displayed on the light ring of the switch for 3 seconds. If the ring is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged at 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% of battery capacity remains. This feature is only active with the original Fenix ARB-LP1900 battery.
Intelligent Overheating Protection - When using the lantern on high power mode for a long time, a large amount of heat accumulates. When it reaches a temperature of 50°C or higher, it automatically reduces the output by a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 50 °C, the power gradually increases again.
Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the ring around the switch will flash red to remind you to recharge the battery.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Remove the battery to prevent accidental activation if the lantern is placed in a closed and flammable environment, such as pockets and backpacks!
- If the lantern is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it could be for one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead - charge it.
