Fenix PD36R ACE
The high-performance Fenix PD36R ACE flashlight will dazzle you with a luminous flux of up to 3000 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 415 meters. This great light output is provided by the premium Luminus SFT-70 LED. It is powered by a 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh (found in the package), which can be conveniently recharged directly in the flashlight via a modern USB-C connector. Under the durable screw nut that protects the USB-C charging port, there is also a unique SET programming button. With it, you can customize the flashlight in a flash: choose one of three preset profiles – tactical, service or outdoor – and perfectly adjust the number of modes, exactly according to your needs. The Fenix PD36R ACE offers up to seven different lighting modes, so you can always choose the optimal combination of power and endurance. It can reach more than 63 hours in eco mode. For crisis situations, the SOS and strobe flash modes are invaluable. Thanks to digital control, the lamp provides constant light output even when the battery gradually discharges, the status of which can be easily checked using the charge indicator. The PD36R ACE impresses not only with its compact dimensions and impressive performance, but also with its tactical limit switch and the ability to connect the Fenix AER-04 wired switch. It is therefore an ideal choice not only for all outdoor enthusiasts, but will also be of great use to members of the military, security forces, or hunters.
All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Pressing it again will turn on SOS. Holding the side button again will return to the constant lighting modes. The number of modes that can be switched depends on the mode preset you have selected, for example, the strobe can be completely deactivated (see below).
Setting lighting mode presets - The SET function offers a choice of three lighting mode presets, which are listed in the following table.
Loosen the nut under the lamp head to reveal the hidden SET switch.
With the light on, press the SET switch to switch between: Setting 1 - tactical mode (Turbo mode only) → Setting 2 - service mode (3 modes) → Setting 3 - outdoor activities (5 modes). When the light is first turned on, Setting 3 is selected from the factory.

Memory for the last set power mode - The lamp remembers the last used power mode within the active preset. The next time it is turned on, it will activate in this mode (does not apply to Strobe and SOS).
Battery replacement - Unscrew the lamp terminal and insert the battery with the positive pole facing the reflector. Then fully tighten the end cap again.
Charging
- Unscrew the protective nut under the light head to reveal the charging port and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port. Tighten the nut again after charging is complete.
- The indicator in the side button lights up red while charging, and turns green when fully charged. While charging, the lamp can be turned on and off by holding the side switch. The limit switch does not work during charging.
- The normal charging time for a completely discharged ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery is approximately 3 hours when using a sufficiently powerful power source.
Battery charge status indication - Each time you turn it on, the indicator LED in the side button is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged at 25-50%. Blinking red means less than 25% of battery capacity remains.
Intelligent overheating protection - If the lamp temperature exceeds 60 °C, the power will be automatically reduced. As soon as the temperature drops below 60°C, the power will gradually increase again.
Low battery warning - If the voltage drops below the set level, the flashlight will reduce the brightness to a lower level. When the lowest power level is reached, the battery charge indicator will flash red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Place the lamp out of reach of children!
- Do not shine the flashlight directly into your own or anyone else's eyes!
- Loosen the end cap half a turn or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
- Use only the original protected 21700 Li-ion battery to avoid damaging the flashlight.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
- If the light is flashing, not switching to higher modes, or not turning on, it could be one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are almost empty – charge or replace the battery.
- The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The head, body, or back of the light is loose - add lubricant to the o-rings and tighten the head and end of the light firmly.
