Fenix LD45R rechargeable flashlight, 2800 lm, black
The Fenix LD45R zoomable rechargeable flashlight delivers a luminous flux of up to 2800 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 480 meters. It uses digital focusing technology to diffuse the light beam, which uses no moving parts, but is essentially a built-in LCD that electronically changes from clear to diffuse in fine increments. Zoom is easily controlled with one hand via the rotary control around the main switch. The use of digital focusing technology allows for the highest level of mechanical resistance to be maintained, making the lamp dustproof and waterproof according to the IP68 standard up to a depth of two meters underwater. The light source is a top-of-the-line Luminus SFT70 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours and is powered by a 21700 battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh. Data on the selected mode, battery status and current performance are clearly displayed on the OLED status display. The robust and waterproof design makes this lamp suitable for universal work, home and outdoor use.
All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix LD45R zoom flashlight
Turning on/off and switching power modes - To turn the light on or off, hold the side button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. Flash modes can be activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds.
OLED display power saving mode - After turning on the light, the OLED display automatically switches to power saving mode after 10 seconds of inactivity and its brightness is reduced by 50%. The display brightness will automatically be restored when the button is pressed again.
Continuous control of spot and area light - The rotary switch allows continuous control between spot and area light. The rotary switch can be rotated 270 degrees.
Memory for the last set mode - The flashlight always turns on in the last selected mode, with the exception of the two highest modes and strobe or SOS.
Lock/unlock - To prevent the lamp from being turned on accidentally, e.g. in the luggage, press the button twice quickly (the flashlight must be off), the flashlight will then flash twice in low mode and the locked padlock symbol will appear on the OLED display for 1 second. To unlock, quickly press the button twice again, the unlocked lock symbol will appear on the OLED display for 1 second and the lamp will turn on in the lowest mode. Unwanted switching on can also be prevented by enabling the lamp's terminal.
Battery replacement - Unscrew the lamp terminal and insert the battery with the positive pole facing the head. Then tighten the lamp end completely again.
Charging - Flip up the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port of the lamp. After charging is complete, seal the dust cap again. The typical charging time for the included ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery is 3 hours with a 5 V/2.5 A USB source. While charging, the lamp can be used in the lowest mode. While charging, the OLED display shows a charging icon and a charge level indicator.
Note: The OLED display will show a crossed-out battery symbol when the battery is inserted upside down or not inserted at all.
Battery charge status indication - During operation of the flashlight, a four-segment charge indicator is displayed on the OLED display. If the lamp is off, the indicator will be displayed for 3 seconds after a short press of the button. Four lit bars mean the battery is 100-75% charged, three lit bars mean 75-50%, two bars mean 50-25%, one bar means 25-10%, and no bars mean 10-1%.
Intelligent overheating protection - When using the lamp at high power modes for a long time, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 60°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the output by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60 °C, the performance gradually increases again.
Low Battery Warning - If the battery voltage drops below 3.0V, the flashlight will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. When the lowest power is reached, the battery charge status icon will start flashing on the OLED display. In this case, recharge the flashlight as soon as possible or replace the battery with a charged one.
Warning
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Only use the above high-current rechargeable Li-ion 21700 batteries.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
- If the light does not switch to higher power modes, flashes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- The battery is almost empty - recharge it.
- The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The back part of the lamp is loose - tighten it.
