Cross-country skiing, often referred to as Nordic skiing, is a popular winter sport that requires specific equipment such as boots, bindings, skis and poles. The shoes are made mainly in classic and skating styles, but also in specific designs and should be compatible with the type of binding on your skis. Cross-country equipment also includes bindings, there are different binding systems, for example NNN (New Nordic Norm) and SNS (Salomon Nordic System), each of which has its own compatibility.
