The specially tuned shape and flex adapt to the radical angle of the ski to the snow and still give you the necessary security and stability. Carefully selected materials such as titanal, beech and poplar wood, carbon and fiberglass create a unique combination with a surprisingly strong grip on frozen spring snow. The shape of the ski ensures easy handling even in difficult passages.
Big mountain black crows solis designed for steep descents
Solis is a special ski with significantly different wood, flex and shape. In order for the ski to work well on very steep slopes with an inclination of more than 45°, it must be very hard longitudinally, have excellent grip and must not sag. That's the only way it won't overturn in the curve and will hold well on frozen snow. That's why the solis model has a radius of 25 m, a rigid flex along the entire length and a core made of a combination of beech and poplar - just like the racing wheels. The stiff rear part gives great support when riding with a backpack on your back.
Solis skis handle extreme descents in all snow conditions
The universal width of 100 mm won't let you down on any type of snow, and it doesn't matter whether you're taking it down a snow-covered chute or on a spring firn. The ski has enough buoyancy, so nothing prevents you from mowing one curve after another. On hard ground in shaded areas, the skis do not create a lot of leverage on the ankle and knee, and the 2.5 mm wide edge withstands impact on the rock.
A good grip will give you stability and security
The right ratio between longitudinal and transverse stiffness is the key to the stability and easy handling of your skis. The feeling of stability and safety of riding on solis black crows skis is ensured by the following elements.
- Titanal reinforcement in the middle of the ski, which dampens vibrations and gives the ski peace and excellent grip.
- Full-length carbon, which distributes the load over the entire length of the ski and thus maintains high torsional stiffness.
- Fiberglass reinforcement, which gives the ski high torsional stiffness, thanks to which the ski does not jump in the arc.
- Gentle camber ensuring sufficient contact of the ski with the snow, which ensures that the edge holds firmly even on hard surfaces.

When driving in open terrain, it is necessary to change direction frequently or to avoid rocks or other unevenness. The simple controllability of the solis skis will allow you to ride more challenging terrains with greater experience, whether you are a seasoned rider or just starting out.
- The extended tip shortens the active edge - a small impulse is enough for the ski to start turning.
- A gentle rocker on the tip shortens the contact of the ski with the snow - you simply put on the arch and easily use pivoting.
- A gently raised heel shortens the ski's contact with the snow - you can quickly change direction or brake easily.
