Pants designed for active movement

ORTOVOX MEDOLA PANTS stand out for their high breathability. This is mainly thanks to the used Schoeller® Naturtec softshell material from Switzerland, which is excellently breathable even during high physical activity and at the same time resistant to wind. This is due to the high density of the weaving, which also brings partial resistance to water and snow. The polyamide component helps with UV protection of the skin and quick drying. The wool on the inside wicks away sweat quickly and is comfortable to wear all day even without underwear.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.

These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, thanks to its antibacterial effects, Merino wool neutralizes odors and is very easy to care for.

Double stitched seams

ORTOVOX MEDOLA PANTS have a technical and comfortable cut, and their durability is enhanced by double-stitched seams used on critical parts. They have a raised waist to provide the best possible protection from snow and a merino wool lining is sewn on the inside for maximum comfort. The waist has an integrated velcro fastening and straps loops.

Technical elements that you will appreciate

The ORTOVOX MEDOLAPANT pants have two front pockets and one thigh pocket for an avalanche transceiver. They have ventilation zippers on the sides. All zippers on the pockets are made in contrasting colors and literally September.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
