The ORTOVOX AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 26 S is designed for both skiers and snowboarders who want an avalanche backpack for the most demanding descents. LiTRIC combines the advantages of both electronic and mechanical systems. On the one hand, it allows for multiple inflations per charge, and at the same time , its weight is comparable to the lightest mechanical solutions of rescue systems ( systems with a pressure cartridge ).
The backpack has the option of inserting a certified Clasp Spine Protector. You can attach everything you need for extreme freeride descents to the backpack, including 2 ice axes and a helmet. A highly durable and comfortable backpack that will fit you like a glove even at high speeds. Thanks to the tightening system and the wide waist belt, the backpack becomes a part of you and does not throw you off balance - the backpack perfectly surrounds your back.
A backpack that blends with your body
The weight of the ORTOVOX AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 26 S backpack is only 2520 g including the system. The backpack has a wide waist belt that you can easily adjust and the backpack will fit exactly on your back. Wide and comfortable shoulder straps better distribute the weight of the backpack between your shoulders, back and hips. The spinal system is made up of memory foam padding in 6 zones. The backpack thus hugs your body and stays firmly in place during any aggressive ride. In addition, the entire contact zone of the back is covered with a practical softshell, which improves grip and at the same time prevents snow from sticking.

Everything important has its place, and the equipment can be easily attached and removed using simple systems. At the same time, the backpack does not have any unnecessary straps that you can catch on while driving in the forest.

Clear and practical pockets
The ORTOVOX AVABAG LiTRIC FREERIDE 26 S backpack has several practical pockets:
- You can get to the main compartment with a two-way zipper from the front of the backpack. Here you will find a compartment for the water reservoir and the outlet for the tube that leads to the shoulder strap. The chamber is light-colored so that you can see the equipment even in poor lighting conditions.
- The second chamber serves as a safety avalanche pocket. There are pockets for avalanche equipment - shovel blade, shovel handle and probe. The wet equipment is thus separated from the rest of the things. The bag has intentionally prominent zipper pulls so that they are immediately visible in case of an emergency.
- There is a small pocket in the front for a map, compass and other navigational equipment. There is also a plastic carabiner for keys in this bag.
