The use

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery. Before first use , remove it from the battery.

On/Off and Mode Switching - When the headlamp is unlocked and off, the white light is turned on by holding the switch for 0.5 seconds, the red light is turned on by pressing the switch twice quickly. The power modes of the switched on light are then switched by briefly pressing the switch. The light is turned off again by holding the switch for 0.5 seconds or by locking it with the slide switch.

Switching between long and wide spotlight and locking - By sliding the top mode switch, you can cycle between Lock ⇋ Long spotlight ⇋ Wide spotlight. When the headlamp is locked, sliding the mode switch to the remote or The wide reflector is switched on at the same time.

Memory for the last set power mode - The headlamp has a memory and turns on in the last set power mode of the respective reflector, with the exception of the highest mode of the high beam reflector (it always turns on in high mode) and the red light modes.

Battery replacement - Unscrew the headlamp battery cap and insert the battery in accordance with the marked polarity. Then tighten the cap completely again.

Charging - Unscrew the dust cap, plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port of the headlamp and its other end into the USB connector of your computer, USB power adapter or USB car adapter. After charging is complete, tighten the dust cap back. The indicator lights red while charging. It will turn green when fully charged. Typical charging time is 2.5 hours with a 5V/2A USB source for a fully discharged headlamp. The headlamp can be used while charging, but charging time will be longer and the available power modes depend on the current battery charge level. It is possible to charge Fenix ​​18650 batteries.

Battery charge status indication - Every time you turn on the headlamp, or after pressing the button when it is off, the indicator LED is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is 20-50% charged. Flashing red indicates that less than 20% of battery capacity remains. Works only with Fenix ​​18650 rechargeable batteries.

Intelligent protection against overheating - A large amount of heat accumulates during long-term use of the headlamp at high power modes. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55°C or higher, it automatically reduces output by a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55 °C, the power will gradually increase again.

Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will reduce the brightness to a lower level. When the lowest power is reached, the battery charge indicator will flash red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. Works only with Fenix ​​18650 rechargeable batteries.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• When using disposable CR123A batteries, do not try to charge them in the headlamp.
• Remove the batteries from the flashlight if you will not be using it for a long time or if the batteries are already discharged. Otherwise, some low-quality batteries may damage the headlamp.
• If the headlamp is flashing, not switching to higher power modes, or not turning on, it could be for one of the following reasons:
