More comfortable, more energetic, more natural. We present to you the revolutionary TERRA ULTRA G 270 running shoe, which comes with several changes and improvements that take the INOV-8 to a level never known before. The most important change concerns the damping layer. Compared to the previous generation TERRA ULTRA, the power of damping is doubled, and the damping material itself has also received a fundamental update. The basis of the shoe is the completely new PowerFlow MAX foam with unrivaled softness and top energy return. The overall comfort is significantly influenced by the new BOOMERANG insert 6 mm insole, again made of high-energy TPU foam. The softness and comfort achieved by TERRA ULTRA G 270 is incomparable to any "old era" INOV-8 shoes. But it wouldn't be us if we sacrificed naturalness and a great feeling for the terrain at the expense of comfort.
Total damping rate incl. the insole is 18 millimeters. This value is high enough to allow you to run in comfort for an infinite amount of time and at the same time low enough that the entire shoe remains maximally flexible and reads the terrain perfectly. High proprioception is also supported by the zero drop, which, thanks to the overall softness of the cushioning, even beginners and hobby runners do not need to be afraid of.
Zero drop remains a specific feature of this model. However, due to the revised cushioning, the new TERRA ULTRA G 270 is more accessible even to less experienced runners who do not have the ideal technique of running through the front part of the foot. Thanks to the thicker midsole, the protection of the foot against impact when running on rocky trails has also been significantly increased.
Despite the double damping, TERRA ULTRA G 270 gained only 10 grams. In addition to saving energy, this also has a positive effect on high dynamics and flexibility, which is much higher compared to the original TU G 260. You will use these features primarily during tempo runs and races on a combined surface. The flexible TPU cushioning will make sure you don't want to run slowly in this shoe.
The sole has also received a slight redesign. The changes are minor at first glance, but the resulting effect will take your breath away. The new pattern has a radically more reliable grip even in more technical trails and on soft ground. Great emphasis continues to be placed on the universality of the entire shoe, so the grip is not so sharp as to limit you when running on roads and paved roads. It goes without saying that graphene is used for an unrivaled ratio between adhesion and durability
The upper remains stretched on our widest hoof (5, standard fit), but is newly made from more sophisticated materials with very high durability. Durability testing took place on the prototypes for several long months, and even with intensive use in a rocky environment, we did not encounter the slightest problem. Forget about Kevlar, which is practically indestructible, but not everyone liked it due to its strength and hardness. TERRA ULTRA G 270 uses a combination of structured fabric covered with durable rubber, and thanks to this, the upper fits the foot like a glove.
