Free 900 XXS is the latest addition to the SILVA Free modular luminaire range. This 900 lumen headlamp is equipped with a lightweight elastic headband, while the integrated cable with textile braid is long enough to store the battery in a running vest, backpack, fanny pack, or in winter for warmth under clothing. The elastic headband itself with cable and reflector with a light output of 900 lm weighs 98g, which is ideal for running activities, the total weight of the Free 900 XXS incl. The 11.1Wh battery is 195g. The modular Silva Free lighting system allows you to freely combine individual components, reflectors with outputs of 900, 1200, 2000 and 3000 lumens, 5 rechargeable battery variants 11.1Wh XXS, 14.4Wh XS, 24.1Wh S, 36Wh M and 7 uniform light distribution in the distance and to the sides and more powerful 2000 and 3000 lm, thanks to Silva Flow Light technology, you can adjust the shape of the light cone by tilting the reflector. The separately supplied Free Helmet Mount set 38230 allows you to attach it to a helmet, thanks to the Free GoPro Mount set 38290, you can attach the reflector to the GoPro camera holder, and using the Free Bar Mount set 38229, you can attach the reflector with the battery to the bike. Free headlamps are designed for various activities, you can choose the reflector power and battery capacity, as well as an elastic headband in the version with an integrated rear red light 38284, or the ultralight version for running 38540. The light output is regulated by a built-in temperature sensor according to the surface temperature of the reflector. If the cooling is not sufficient, e.g. during static activities, indoors or at high temperatures, then the light output will be automatically reduced until an acceptable surface temperature on the reflector body is reached, this applies mainly to the more powerful 2000 and 3000 lm reflectors. As soon as the battery capacity drops to 10% of the initial value, the spotlight will flash during lighting and go into reserve mode, which has an output of 80lm and provides approximately 1 hour of operation. The Free 1200, 2000 and 3000 headlamps, including accessories, withstand jets of water from all angles - IPX5 water resistance. * Silva headlamp specifications are measured according to ANSI FL1. Battery life is measured as the time it takes for the light output to drop to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after switching on, not the time it takes for the headlamp to completely discharge, after which it enters reserve mode. Battery life is affected by ambient temperature and type of activity, e.g. When running or cycling, the reflector is better cooled, while sub-zero temperatures reduce the battery's capacity. The afterglow is given as the distance at which the illumination intensity drops to 0.25 lux. This is approximately the intensity of illumination produced by a full moon in a clear sky.
