The Fenix ​​HL17R is a multifunctional ultralight headlamp that will illuminate you with a luminous flux of up to 500 lumens and a range of 100 meters. Despite weighing only 65 grams, it hides an integrated 1000 mAh battery, which is conveniently charged via a USB-C connector directly on the body of the lamp. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-20 LED with a cooler light shade and additional colored LEDs. The unique magnetic attachment of the headlamp in the holder allows it to be immediately removed and used as a handheld flashlight. You can attach it to a backpack strap, pocket, or belt using the included clip. The HL17R offers a total of four white light brightness levels and five atmospheric color modes. The use

Power on/off and mode switching - When the headlamp is unlocked, press and hold the main switch for 0.5 seconds to turn it on/off. The lighting functions of the selected lighting mode are then switched by briefly pressing the same switch.

Switching between white light and colored light - Turn the light ring clockwise to select the lighting mode White light → Colored light.

Lock/Unlock - With the headlamp on, turn the light ring counterclockwise (to the lock position) to lock. Turn the light ring clockwise to unlock the light and enter the previously used power of the currently selected lighting mode.

Memory for the last set power mode - The headlamp has a memory and turns on in the last set power mode of the selected lighting method.

Gesture control of the headlamp - When the headlamp is on, press and hold the sensor switch, the headlamp will flash white three times and the gesture sensing function indicator will flash blue, indicating that this function is activated. After activating this feature, you can turn the headlamp on/off with a wave of your hand. With the headlamp on, press and hold the sensor switch again to deactivate this function. Turning off or locking the headlamp deactivates the gesture capture feature. To use this feature, reactivate it after turning on the headlamp. The detection range is approximately 10 cm in front of the headlamp and may vary slightly depending on the material and color of the object being scanned, ambient light, selected light output, and waving speed. The gesture recognition feature uses an infrared sensor. If an object other than your hand moves within the sensing range in front of the headlamp, the headlamp may also turn on/off.

Charging - Turn off the headlamp and plug the USB-C charging cable into the charging port. The indicator lights red while charging. It lights up green when fully charged. While charging, the headlamp can be used in all modes except the highest.

Battery charge status indication - Every time the headlamp is turned on or after pressing the button when it is turned off, the indicator LED is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left.

Intelligent Overheat Protection - When using the headlamp in high power mode, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 60°C or higher, it will automatically reduce the output by a few lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, the power will gradually increase again.

Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will gradually reduce the brightness to a lower level. When the lowest power is reached, the battery charge indicator will start flashing red to remind you to recharge the battery.
