Petzl I'D EVAC rappel brake
The ID EVAC self-locking abseil device is primarily intended for launching from an anchor point. It has an ergonomic handle that allows comfortable control of the rope. The integrated anti-panic function and the fuse against incorrect rope installation limit the risk of an accident due to user error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows the rope to be locked without the need to handle the handle or tie the securing knot. Once locked, the rope can be lifted up without having to manipulate the handle. The safety latch allows the rope to be installed even when the device is connected at the anchor point. The ID EVAC is compatible with ropes with a diameter of 10 to 11.5 mm and enables the handling of loads up to 250 kg.

- A safety catch on the movable sidewall allows for easy installation of the rope while the device remains attached to the anchor point
- Easy rope installation thanks to grooves and markings
- Insurance against incorrect rope installation to reduce the risk of an accident
- The ergonomic handle allows the rope to be released and enables convenient control of the launch
- Two possible launch modes: the outgoing end of the rope runs sideways through the sidewall or forward through the V-shaped friction segment
- The anit-panic function automatically stops the trigger if the user pulls the handle too hard
- The AUTO-LOCK system allows the rope to be locked without the need to handle the handle or tie the safety knot: as soon as the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device
- The automatic handle return system limits the risk of accidentally catching the device
- The handle automatically returns to the stowed position when the rope is removed from the device, reducing the risk of accidental entanglement when transporting the device on a harness
Universality:
- After blocking, the rope can be lifted up without having to handle the handle, e.g. for creating a hoist for pulling, or short rope climbs
- The movable sidewall can be secured with a screw, which allows the ID S to be integrated into evacuation kits
- The integrated open additional brake will increase the friction depending on the weight of the load or the diameter of the rope
- The stainless steel friction segment increases the resistance of the friction zone of the rope
- The possibility of abseiling with heavy loads up to 250 kg
- Compatibility with ropes: diameter 10 to 11.5 mm
- Available in two colors: yellow and black
