The base layer meets the European cut resistance standard EN388-2016, level 4 (out of 5), which means it provides 2. the highest level of protection. Made exclusively from a new type of Dyneema® with added flexibility, the Base Armor bottoms improve leg protection. A double layer of Dyneema® in key areas covering the major arteries in the legs provides extra protection where it is most needed.

Base Armor is tailored for ski racers and provides a compression feel, while the addition of stretch material ensures the tights move with the body. The elastic waistband ensures that the base armor fits comfortably and securely for racing.
