Storm Care Down Wash detergent
A specially formulated down-filled cleaner designed to clean the outer surface of the garment while preserving the natural oils and long-lasting performance that down provides. The recipe has a controlled acidity to perfectly suit the down and maintain its fluffiness.Feathers have natural water-repellent and insulating properties that require special cleaning to avoid damaging their integrity. Regular detergents strip down's natural oils, reducing its fluffiness and thermal properties. The gentle ingredients used in Down Wash do not strip down's natural oils.
Manual:
- Put one item of clothing in the washing machine. Do not overfill the drum as technical garments must move freely to achieve effective mechanical and chemical cleaning.
- Pour 75 ml of Down Wash into the detergent compartment. If you are impregnating, add 75ml of Storm Down Proofer to the fabric softener compartment.
- Set the washing machine to 30°C, low-spin synthetics program or sports/technical clothing program if available
- Follow the instructions on the garment label. Let it drip for at least 20 minutes before drying in the dryer.
- Tumble dry at low temperature according to the label, removing and shaking the garment regularly to distribute the fluff evenly in the chambers
- Tip: add Storm Down Balls for maximum fluffiness
