The RigidFlex lever remains firm in the hand, the body of the friend does not bend or twist when the cam levers are pulled, so the friend can be placed in place with one precise movement

Larger sizes have a double-twisted cable, so the stem of the friend bends evenly
|

The head also has a narrow profile, so the friend can be inserted into shallower joints, the surface of the cams is sandblasted. This increases the friction of the segments against the rock surface.

The actuating wires of the individual cams have independent floating bearings
|

The Camalot does not bend when under tension, but once in place, it allows the stem to move, ensuring the head remains in place in the joint.
