PANTIN is a foot ascender designed for more efficient and less tiring rope ascents. It is available in two versions: for the right and left foot.
Makes rope ascents easier:
- Used in conjunction with CROLL, ASCENSION or BASIC rope ascenders
- Keeps the body in an upright position for more efficient movement
- The design makes it easier for the rope to pass through the belay device, even in the first few meters.
High resistance:
- Stainless steel cam ensures excellent corrosion resistance
- Self-cleaning grooved spike cam optimizes performance under varying conditions (e.g. frozen or dirty ropes)
- HMPE (high modulus polyethylene) straps resist abrasion
Functional and ergonomic:
- Compact shape allows for permanent attachment to the leg and helps prevent snagging
- Quick and easy adjustment with DOUBLEBACK buckle
- It is released from the rope by simply moving the foot backwards (stumbling)
- A cam lock is available as an accessory to keep the rope in the belay device during rope ascents.
