Petzl VOLT WIND full body harness

The Petzl VOLT WIND is a full-body fall arrest and work positioning harness developed specifically for wind turbine technicians. Five connection points allow for safe belaying and comfortable positioning when working at height. The LADDER CLIMB front attachment point is designed for climbing along a vertical belay line with a rail or steel rope and automatically moves to the chest position in the event of a fall to keep the body in a vertical position.

The harness is very quick to put on while standing thanks to the FAST quick-release buckles on the waist, chest and leg straps, which can be comfortably operated even with gloves. Fine tuning is ensured by self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles with anti-slip segments that maintain the adjustment throughout the working day. Widely guided shoulder straps reduce neck chafing and all contact surfaces are padded with molded foam with a breathable surface for increased comfort during long wear.

The semi-rigid waist and leg straps provide firm support during positioning, while the sliding padding of the leg straps and the adjustable strap between the back and waist allow for precise adjustment of the harness to the body. The elastic leg straps maintain proper adjustment while walking and in suspension and are replaceable as a spare part. Protective plates on the back of the shoulder straps and waist protect the straps from abrasion and increase comfort when moving inside the turbine tower.

Practical details such as foldable side attachment points, MGO coupler storage holders and a combination of material loops with slots for CARITOOL carriers and TOOLBAG pouches make it easy to organize your work equipment. The textile parts of the harness contain a significant proportion of recycled materials, which reduces its environmental footprint.
