Belay device with assisted braking for a wide range of single rope diameters for both climbing walls and crags. Designed for experienced belayers.
The assisted braking function increases comfort when belaying, holding the climber, or catching a fall. The design of the controlled cam mechanism allows for exceptional control when lowering the climber.

The technique for feeding and retrieving the rope is the same as with a classic belay device: both hands hold the rope; the fall is arrested by pressing the hand on the free end of the rope

The assisted braking function is activated when the climber falls, the GRIGRI rotates, the rope tightens, the cam rises and locks the rope, holding the free end of the rope activates the cam, so it is important to always hold the free end of the rope in your hand

Compatible with dynamic single ropes with a diameter of 8.5 to 11 mm, optimal use with ropes with a diameter of 8.9 to 10.5 mm
