In collaboration with the military, Cascade Designs has invented advanced technology that can be used by all travelers, nature lovers, and in the event of unexpected disasters. Guardian is reliably effective for all types of water - clear, tea-colored or muddy. The hollow fiber cartridge inside the device reliably filters pathogens and viruses from even the dirtiest waters. The filter can be reused without the need for backwashing or brushing the cartridge. It is equipped with two tubes and a backwash system during filtering.

  • does not remove chemicals, radioactive pollution, heavy metals and particles smaller than 0.02µ
  • does not remove odors
  • the filter is not damaged by frost
  • withstands (MSR laboratory drop test) a fall from a height of 1.8 m onto concrete
  • patented self-cleaning system: with each cycle, 10% of the water is returned back through the filter cartridge
  • the tube has a pre-filter strainer for impurities
  • no need for backwashing and brushing of the filter element
  • filtration speed 2.5 liters per minute
  • Lifespan: more than 10,000 liters
