A set that includes a Sig fall absorber and a special element for connecting the arms of the Rock Empire Mr. Magnet via ferrata set.
The Siga via ferrata belay brake from Rock Empire represents a modern concept of a fall absorber. The shock absorber is easy to handle because it is equipped with large yet lightweight palm-sized carabiners that allow it to be attached to ropes and anchors of larger diameters. The handling of these state-of-the-art via ferrata carabiners is very intuitive, especially thanks to their ergonomic shaping, sophisticated construction and optimal angle of attack, which makes all handling really comfortable and safe.
The easy operation of the internal mechanism and the natural control of these new carabiners fundamentally contribute to the comfort and safety of the user even during demanding mountain ascents. The textile damper is very compact and is equipped with a swivel hinge. This limits the twisting of loops with carabiners. The upper metal eye on the hinge serves as a short offset. In spring 2024, Siga received the prestigious Preistip award from the renowned German magazine ALPIN for its excellent price/quality ratio.
