Ultralight GORE-TEX ® PACLITE ® PLUS membrane jacket
GORE-TEX ® PACLITE ® PLUS is a 2.5-layer membrane material. Its main advantage is its very low weight. Compared to classic GORE-TEX ® clothing , the GANDIVA JACKET is much lighter and has an incomparably smaller volume when packed. However, the waterproof properties remain as we are used to with other GORE-TEX ® products. The word PLUS in the name indicates a higher version of the PACLITE technology, which makes the jacket much more pleasant and you will feel absolutely great in it.
Active fit and helmet-compatible hood
Since you are not expected to wear many layers or down under this jacket (or rarely), the jacket is cut according to the Active Fit pattern. This means that it has a narrower cut and fits great. There is no material left anywhere that would bother you or limit you during hikes. You will also be completely satisfied with the Mountain HC Hood, under which a mountain climbing helmet fits well. The drawstrings of the hood are sewn into the channels so that they don't bother you in the wind.
The most perfect seams
Small details make a big difference. Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. A jacket sewn in this way lasts much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against backpacks, rocks and other objects. Thanks to this, the absorption of moisture into the seam threads is also prevented, making the jacket even more resistant to getting wet. In addition, all seams are taped with waterproof tapes.

The perfect shape of the sleeves from the shoulder to the wrist
The sleeves of the GANDIVA JACKET are made of one piece with inserts placed so that the sleeve is natural in every position and does not restrict you in any movement. The sleeve cuffs are equipped with Velcro fasteners for better adaptation to the current need.Waterproof YKK® zippers
The GANDIVA JACKET is fastened with a YKK® Aquaguard® two-way zipper. This is the highest model range of this renowned zipper manufacturer. Two pockets and underarm ventilation are equipped with YKK® WR zippers.
