Ortovox Westalpen jacket

You can wear the ORTOVOX WESTALPEN technical women's jacket with a non-porous membrane all day, or keep it in your backpack as a backup if you are caught in snow, rain or wind - it is light, packable and durable at the same time. Excellent breathability and ventilation zippers guarantee comfort even during demanding physical activity. Technical refinement, athletic cut and stretch material provide perfect freedom of movement.

ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment
Jacket with two large pockets where you can hide map and other necessary things
Raised pockets are easy to get to even through the backpack waist belt or seat harness
Smaller pocket with zipper on the chest, used for smartphone or GPS
Armpit vents with excellent breathability improve air circulation
All seams are taped and there is placket along the main zipper that drains water and keeps you dry
Ergonomically shaped sleeves can be pulled down using Velcro cuffs
The waist and hood can be adjusted with integrated drawstrings that are hidden in tunnels, so they won't bother you in the wind.
Hood can also be worn over the mountain climbing helmet
High collar protects face perfectly even when looking up
On the inside of the collar you will find MERINO 120 TEC material, which is pleasant to the touch, absorbs moisture and does not freeze.

Waterproof hiking jackets from ORTOVOX

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
