Opinel Vri N°08 knife

The limited edition N°08 traditional folding knife comes in a blue gift box. The handle is made of Finnish birch wood, which is white and allows for "zebra" by layering repainted wooden slats in the shade of ripe cherry. These are then pressed, laminated and varnished.

The blade features excellent sharpness and high abrasion (wear) resistance, allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials such as ceramics before requiring resharpening. The advantage of stainless steel is that, unlike carbon steel, it does not require any special maintenance under normal conditions of use. However, it may reach its limits when it comes into prolonged contact with aggressive environments (acid, salt water, cleaning agents...).

The 8.5 cm long blade is made of 12C27 stainless steel, which is anticorrosive, maintenance -free and stands out by sharpness
Hardness ranges between 57-58 HRC
The knife is equipped with a ViroBlock safety device that prevents accidental opening or closing.
