The Fenix ​​CL27R is a multifunctional rechargeable lantern and flashlight. In addition, it also works great as a rechargeable work light, a light for photographers, or as a light for the home, tent, or car. The high-brightness COB diode provides a wide light cone with an output of up to 1200 lumens (ANSI), the intensity and hue of which can be continuously adjusted using rotary controls. There is also a high-beam headlight with an output of 800 lumens and a range of 177 meters and a red light. The long-range and wide-beam reflectors can be combined to achieve an output of up to 1600 lumens. The CL27R is powered by one 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh (included). The battery is charged directly in the lantern using the USB-C connector.

Thanks to its durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 protection, the light can withstand adverse weather conditions and even a fall from a height of 1.5 meters. A wide range of light mounting options is provided by the handle, which can be rotated 360°, built-in magnets and a tripod thread.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

 Using the Fenix ​​CL27R Rechargeable Lantern

Turning on/off and changing the white light output - to switch to white light mode, turn the left control clockwise. By turning it, you can continuously regulate the light output from the lowest to the highest. To reduce power, turn the left control counterclockwise. To turn off, turn the left control counterclockwise to the extreme position.

Switching lighting modes - turn on the lantern with the left control clockwise, it will always turn on in wide cone mode. Then, by pressing the top button, you can cycle between the lighting modes in the order wide beam - long beam - long beam and wide beam.

Changing the light shade of the wide reflector - when the lantern is switched to a wide or combined cone, the shade of the white light of the wide cone can be continuously changed by turning the right control in the range of 2700 to 6500 K. The color temperature of the high beam is 5700 K and cannot be changed. The lantern remembers the set light shade of the wide light cone even after being turned off.

Red light - when the lantern is off, the red light is turned on and off by holding the electronic switch for 0.5 seconds. Further button presses cycle through the red light modes.

Battery replacement - using the included plastic key, loosen the battery cover by turning it counterclockwise. Insert the battery with the positive pole facing inside the lantern and then tighten the cap again completely. Warning: unscrewing the battery cover with a sharp tool may cause scratches.

Battery charge status indication - after briefly pressing the button or after turning on the lantern, the LED charge status indicator is activated for 3 seconds. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one 20-40% and one flashing means the battery is less than 20% charged.

Low battery warning - if the battery voltage drops below the set level, the lantern will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power. When low power is reached, the battery status indicator will start flashing to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Charging the Fenix ​​CL27R lantern

Flip open the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the lantern's charging port. Put the dust cap back on after charging is complete. The normal charging time is 2.5 hours for a completely discharged lantern. During charging, the indicators flash from left to right, and when fully charged, all four will remain lit continuously. The light can also be used while charging.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Remove the battery from the flashlight if you will not be using it for an extended period of time, or loosen the battery cap by half a turn.
• Regular cleaning of the electrical contacts ensures trouble-free operation of the lamp, as dirty contacts can cause the lamp to flicker, light intermittently or even not light at all for the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is dead. Charge it or replace it with a charged one.
  • The electrical contacts inside the lamp are dirty, clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
