The Fenix ​​PD32R rechargeable tactical flashlight offers a high luminous flux of up to 1400 lumens (ANSI) and an impressive range of up to 344 meters. The above-standard reach (given the size of the luminaire) was achieved by using the top-of-the-line Luminus SFT-40 LED, which creates a very well-focused cone. The flashlight can be powered by one Li-ion 18650 battery, which is included in the package, or by two disposable CR123A batteries. The battery is recharged via a USB-C connector cleverly hidden under a screw cap at the head of the lamp, where the charge level indicator is also located. The Fenix ​​PD32R has five different lighting modes that allow you to choose between high power and long battery life (up to 70 hours ). It also has a flash mode for attracting attention and for crisis situations, which can be quickly activated from the off state by holding down the tactical button. The PD32R impresses not only with its compact size and great performance, but also with its dual-spring design, which makes it excellently resistant to recoil when used on a weapon. On a long gun, the light can be controlled with the Fenix ​​AER-02 cable switch. We can therefore recommend it for service in security forces as well as for regular outdoor and hunting use.

The use

There may be an insulating cap on the battery from the factory. Remove it before first use.

To turn it on, press the tactical button at the end of the lamp, for immediate activation, hold the button. The lamp remembers the last selected mode (except stroboscope). When the light is on, the lighting modes (except strobe) can be cycled by pressing the button. To activate the strobe, hold the button fully pressed for 0.5 seconds (this also works from off state). Pressing it again will return the lamp to its original mode. Press the button to turn off the lamp.

Intelligent overheating protection - due to the fact that the lamp reaches a high output of 1400 lumens, its temperature increases. If the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the power will be automatically reduced. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, it is possible to use the highest power again.

Low battery warning - the flashlight will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and flash 3 times every five minutes.

Charging the lamp - Unscrew the protective nut under the lamp head and use the included USB-C cable to connect it to a computer, USB mains adapter or USB car adapter (not included). Any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the indicator LED opposite the charging connector lights up red, after full charge it lights up green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 3 hours. The used Li-ion battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so the lamp can be recharged at any time. The lamp cannot be turned on during charging.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries to avoid damage to the flashlight, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • Batteries are low - replace them.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The head, body, or back of the light is loose - add lubricant to the o-rings and tighten both the head and the end of the light firmly.
